 The Leicester City Ligers are one of the oldest dodgeball teams in the country, having formed in 2005 to represent the city of Leicester at dodgeball.
The Ligers are the most seasoned team in the UK, having played over 30 Official UKDBA tournaments since they formed. The starting line up has undergone many changes over the years, absorbing up and coming talent from the Leicester area. In the season of 2009/2010, the Ligers have won 7 out of the 12 tournaments they have entered, and have made it to every single final, totalling 5 runners-up positions.
| The Liger's strengths are their speed, diversity of throw and teamwork. With some very recent successes under their belt they are a strong force to be reckoned with this season and a good tip for the National Dodgeball Championships this year.

| The Ligers train weekly at Enderby Leisure Centre in Leicester between 8:30pm and 10:30pm every Tuesday. The sessions are ran by the Enderby Dodgeball club and are open to everyone aged 16 and over. The team thoroughly encourage new members to try out one of the UK's fastest sports in an informal yet competitive environment ran by Simon, our qualified UKDBA dodgeball coach. The sessions are mixed-sex with quite a growing contingent of female players. Enderby Dodgeball Club suits beginners - we are on a huge recruitment hunt for new members, both male and female over 16.
